I asked a junior one day, 'does bluetooth come from blue + tooth, which literally means a tooth whose colour is blue? So why are many bluetooth devices not blue? Shouldn't it be a whitetooth or redtooth?'
He replied, 'come on, it's just a name!'
Well, my junior classmate really was unaware of the fact that the name came after a king who united Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
That's why a bluetooth device is meant to connect a device to another or others.
And yes, king bluetooth had a dark, blue tooth!
